Email marketing services in Fort Lauderdale, from the team that started here

JLB began in Fort Lauderdale more than 15 years ago, and email has been part of the work from the start. Today we run email marketing for businesses across Florida and the rest of the country, in the platform that fits: MailChimp for straightforward newsletters, Klaviyo for online stores, HubSpot when email needs to work with a sales team and a CRM. Not sure which? Our Klaviyo vs Mailchimp vs HubSpot comparison lays it out.

Effective email marketing in Florida is less about clever subject lines and more about three things: sending to people who asked to hear from you, sending something useful at the right time, and making sure it reaches the inbox.

What to send, and when

  • Automations first. A welcome series for new subscribers, follow-ups after a quote or a first purchase, abandoned-cart reminders for stores and win-back emails for customers who have gone quiet. They run every day without anyone pressing send, and they usually bring in more than newsletters.
  • Segment the list. Past customers, new leads, year-round residents and seasonal ones want different messages. Even two or three segments make emails more relevant and keep unsubscribes down.
  • Plan around the South Florida calendar. Many businesses here are busiest in season, roughly November to April, when part-time residents and visitors are in town. Build the list and the offers before season, not during it.
  • Be useful in storm season. For service businesses, a short note before or after a storm about hours, availability or what to check can earn more goodwill than any promotion.
  • A regular newsletter. Once a month is fine for most businesses. Consistency matters more than frequency.

Our guide to email marketing for Fort Lauderdale businesses has examples for each.

Getting delivered, and staying legal

Since 2024, Gmail and Yahoo require bulk senders to authenticate their domain (SPF, DKIM and DMARC), offer one-click unsubscribe and keep spam complaints low. Senders who skip this see more of their email go to spam or get rejected. We set up authentication, warm up new sending domains, remove bounces and handle inactive contacts so your list stays healthy. Every month you see opens, clicks and, where the platform can track it, the sales email brought in.

The federal CAN-SPAM Act also applies to commercial email: honest subject lines and sender names, your physical mailing address, and an unsubscribe that works and is honored promptly. This is general information, not legal advice; your attorney can confirm what applies to your business.

Email does more alongside the rest of your marketing. A good website grows the list, and Google Ads can bring new subscribers in faster. See our email marketing service for how we work nationwide.

Questions we hear

Do you only work with Florida businesses?

No. We started in Fort Lauderdale, and we run email marketing for companies across the country.

Which platform should we use?

MailChimp for simple newsletters, Klaviyo for online stores, HubSpot when email ties into sales and a CRM. We can also work in the account you have. Compare them.

Why do our emails go to spam?

Usually missing domain authentication, old addresses on the list, or sending habits that trigger filters. We check all three.

How often should we send?

Once a month is enough for most businesses, with automations running in between. What you send matters more than how often.

Can you write the emails?

Yes. We write newsletters and campaigns from the details you give us, in templates that match your brand.
