Zoho CRM is usually the better value if you want a highly customizable CRM at a low per-user price, especially if you will also use other Zoho apps for books, help desk or projects. HubSpot is usually the better fit if ease of use, fast adoption and built-in marketing tools matter more than price per seat.
As of 2026, third-party pricing guides list Zoho CRM’s paid editions from $14 to $52 per user per month billed annually, with a free edition for up to 3 users. HubSpot offers a free CRM and a Starter Customer Platform at about $20 per seat, with Professional tiers costing far more. For a 20-person sales team on mid-tier plans, the gap can be several thousand dollars a year.
Free for up to 3 users. Standard $14, Professional $23, Enterprise $40 and Ultimate $52 per user per month billed annually, or about $20, $35, $50 and $65 billed monthly, according to Automation Atlas’s June 2026 guide. Zoho One bundles dozens of Zoho apps for one price.
Free CRM with limits on features and automation. Starter Customer Platform about $20 per seat per month, Sales Hub Professional about $100 per seat monthly or $90 annually, Enterprise about $150, according to Automation Atlas’s July 2026 breakdown. Workflow automation requires Professional.
Two pricing details matter more than the headline. First, the automation you probably want, such as assigning leads, sending follow-ups and creating tasks, sits in Zoho’s Standard or Professional editions but in HubSpot’s Professional tier. Second, HubSpot’s marketing tools are priced partly on contacts, so a large email list adds cost. Prices change, so confirm on each vendor’s site.
Using the 2026 list prices above and annual billing: 20 users on Zoho CRM Professional at $23 come to about $5,520 a year. Twenty seats of HubSpot Sales Hub Professional at $90 come to about $21,600 a year, before any onboarding or marketing contact costs. Twenty seats of HubSpot Starter at about $20 would be closer to $4,800, but without the workflow automation many teams want.
That gap is real, but it is not the whole story. If HubSpot’s simplicity means reps actually log their activity and the Zoho setup sits half-used, the cheaper license is the more expensive outcome.

Usually, per user. As of 2026, Zoho’s paid editions run about $14 to $52 per user per month billed annually, while HubSpot’s automation features sit in Professional tiers around $90 to $100 per seat. Exact totals depend on users, contacts and add-ons.
Zoho CRM has a free edition for up to 3 users with basic contact, deal and reporting features. HubSpot also has a free CRM. Both limit automation on free plans.
Most users find HubSpot quicker to learn. Zoho offers more customization for the price but takes more setup to feel simple.
Yes. Both import contacts, companies and deals from CSV files or migration tools. Automations, custom modules and reports need to be rebuilt.
